I paint presence.
From an early age, I was drawn to the inner dimensions of human experience: the quiet awareness beneath identity, the unseen forces that form how we inhabit ourselves. Meditation, philosophy, and solitude shaped the way I see the human face - not as a surface, but as a threshold.
My work explores presence through portraiture. I am especially drawn to intimate moments of human connection - the depth within sustained eye contact, the quiet dignity within each person’s form.
Using layered spiral forms embedded within the figure, I reveal not only physical likeness, but internal essence. The spiral serves as a visual language for consciousness - subtle, continuous, alive, and fluid.
Some works evoke stillness and contemplation. Others explore surrender, sensuality, and the fullness of inhabiting one’s body. Together, they inquire into what it means to be fully alive within oneself.
Motherhood has profoundly deepened this inquiry. As a full-time mother, I experience caregiving as a daily meditation, a practice of patience, awareness, and embodied presence. This intimacy informs every portrait I create.
Each painting is designed to be lived with. Over time, it invites calm, reflection, and a quiet shift in the atmosphere of a space.

Commissioned Portraits
A commissioned portrait is an exploration of essence, not only a likeness.
Through dialogue and photographic reference, I create a painting that reflects not only how you appear, but the spirit that lives within.
Each commission is approached with the same contemplative process as my original works.
